Deborah is already leading, judging and speaking prophetically before Barak enters the scene. Her authority is not a reluctant exception created by his fear.
Barak asks for her presence. Courage sometimes grows through credible companionship rather than isolated self-sufficiency.
Deborah agrees but does not flatter him. Support and truthful accountability remain together.
Reject applications that glorify war today. Ask instead how wise company helps people face responsibility without domination or denial.
