Reflect
Both houses face rain, flood and wind. Faithfulness does not guarantee a life without storms.
The difference is practice. Admiring Jesus’ words without embodying them leaves the foundation incomplete.
The sermon has named reconciliation, truthfulness, enemy love, generosity, prayer and non-judgmental discernment. Rock is concrete obedience to this whole way.
Preparation happens before pressure. Repeated small practices can make mercy and integrity available when conditions become difficult.
